Sharing what I wish someone told me about Investing before I started crammed into a 20 minute video. This Canadian Edition of Investing 101 will explain the general concepts surrounding investing like when to know you are ready to start Investing, the importance of having an Emergency Fund, the 4 Main Asset Classes (Real Estate, Stocks/ETFs, bonds, commodities), the pros and cons of investing in each of the asset classes as well as their purpose (leverage vs. income. vs growth), the importance of GROWTH assets as a new/young investor, and an explanation of brokerage accounts and Canadian tax advantaged investment accounts (TFSA and RRSP).
