The Evolution of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was released in 1998. It is the first 3D Zelda game. Despite seeming like a huge departure from the 2D games, it carries forward many of the elements and themes from the series. The Evolution of Zelda is a series where I'll be playing every Zelda game in release order and reviewing how each game evolves from the last. Having played very few games in the series previously, it's a huge blind spot for me that I've never experienced before.
