Pruning My Collected Larch Bonsai, The Bonsai Zone, April 2020

My North American Larch bonsai gets a pruning before the needles emerge this spring. The tree (Larix laricina) is a commonly called a Tamarack tree.

This tree began as a tall straight tree and was pruned back to the first 90 degree branch. I have been working on this tree for about 18 years now.
Today's update is my Manitoba Maple trees that I collected from my pre- bonsai garden.
