The compact HWACHEON 200BL lathe from Ward HI-TECH packs a punch!

Rowan Easter-Robinson of MTDCNC and Richard Pearson of Ward HI-TECH review the HWACHEON 200BL, an entry-level lathe that offers flexibility for complex end work. The machine comes with Ward HI-TECH standard features and also has driven tools, BMT65, spindle load monitoring, sister tooling, a thread repair cycle, and a lot of control features with the ability to take out vibration using a simple button. Every station on the turret can be a driven tool if required, and the machine can have a bar feeder, bar loader, and even hook up to a parts conveyor to offer a more automated process. As standard, Ward HI-TECH machines include everything to get you on the road to producing parts. If you’ve got the cutting tools to go into toolholders, you’re ready for production as soon as the machine drops on your shop floor. Richard emphasizes the flexibility of the machine that works well for different requirements of different customers. Ward HI-TECH always have 4 to 5 different HWACHEON models on demo, and if you buy the machine now on a 10% deposit, you don’t have to pay the rest until summer 2023!
