on my knees praying for forgiveness
i found a new religion
apologies to myself
all praise to the most high
version of me
found myself through death
grieving the transition
it’s similar to the lingering moment between breaths
the gap in between
inhale —— exhale
i can breathe now
stopped seeing the world
i revealed the mystery of me now
they told me i was born a sinner
but i know i was born a God
there was always power
in the precious blood of my cut wrist
seeking outside of myself to become something greater
all i ever had to be was this
what’s greater than making heaven & earth?
& reflecting in likeness
blowing cloud angels
been hiding under their wings
in the shadow of God
where i found my inner peace
i am the Source
just from another perspective
pen to paper, writing my truth
i am the creative director
no longer wanting to be seen
but known truly
i found a new religion
no more pretending to not be unruly
