Seven books to help you write better - how to improve your writing skills

I always get asked: how do you get started writing? How do you become a better writer? How do you improve your writing skills?

My answer: read, learn, and read some more.

Today, I'm answering that question with the seven books that helped improve my writing skills the most when I was writing my first book, Shadows of Lela.

NOTE: This was originally recorded as a FB live in a FB group that no longer exists. I am no longer a mindset coach, nor do I coach fellow writers, and I no longer have a resources for writers section on my website. I'm just a full time fantasy author now :) But several books later I can still say these books were the cornerstones I built my writing career on, which is why I keep this video up. I hope it helps new writers as much as these books helped me when I was just starting out!
