Zion Canyon

Went on trip to Las Vegas for a family reunion and we decided to take a little day trip from the city. 2.5 hours from Las Vegas to Springdale, Utah where Zion Canyon was located. We had a late departure from Vegas so we only got to experience this worlds wonder for 6 hours. So we made the most of it by hiking the well known Angels Landing with is a 1500ft elevation climb and overall 5.4 miles hike. What stands out about Angels Landing is the 1000ft plus shear drop offs, thin winding sections only 3ft wide is some locations, off camber faces with nothing more than a chain rope to hold onto to get to the top of the Landing. However once taking on and battling the climb, also the many tourists climbing up and down at the same time, you are greeted with an awe inspiring view of what mother natural can do.
