Installation Temperature for Garage Floor Tile

Advice for installing self adhesive floor tile. The ideal temperature to install peel and stick vinyl floor tile is 65 to 85 degrees.

Many of our customers want to buy tile for their garage, trailer, shed, or basement. The temperatures in these area fluctuate drastically because they're generally not air conditioned or heated.

Temperature fluctuations do not affect our tile. However, the temperature at which you install is quite important.

Adhesive does not like cold temperatures, nor does it like very hot temperatures, so make sure you install when the temperatures range between 65-85 degrees F.
