Radeon 890M: Is It Kinda Insane for FPS Gaming on an iGPU
No dGPU? No problem.
I threw 7 heavy-hitting games at the Acemagic F3A — a Mini PC with nothing but an AMD Radeon 890M integrated GPU. No external graphics card. No tricks. Just raw, out-of-the-box performance.
I didn’t think it would keep up, but… here we are.
🕹️ Here’s what we tested:
– CSGO (classic shooter, needs high FPS)
– Forza Horizon 5 (GPU-intensive racing)
– PUBG (battle royale optimization mess)
– Black Myth: Wukong (next-gen visuals, early demo)
– Shadow of the Tomb Raider (cinematic benchmark favorite)
– God of War (yes, the 2018 one)
– The Witcher 3 (still punishing after all these years)
📊 What to expect:
– Real gameplay clips, no fluff
– In-game FPS counters were available
– Mix of 720p/1080p depending on the game
– Raw frame pacing, stutter moments included
⚙️ Test Rig:
– Acemagic F3A
– AMD Ryzen 7 + Radeon 890M
– 32GB DDR5
– 1TB NVMe SSD
– Windows 11
🔥 Why this matters:
Integrated graphics have come a long way. A few years ago, this kind of gaming on a GPU-less setup would've been unthinkable. Now? We're seeing playable framerates on titles people said would never run without a 3060.
Of course, it’s not perfect. Some dips, some tweaking required — but if you’re building a compact, low-power, budget-friendly gaming station or a LAN party backup rig… F3A might be your next underdog hero.

Which game surprised you the most? What should I test next?
📌 Subscribe if you're into weird PC builds, mini rigs, and pushing silicon past its comfort zone.
