Athens Services - Manual Collection in Azusa

The City of Azusa is one of the few surrounding cities that are still done manual style. Athens collects trash, yard trimmings, recycling, and bulk all in the carry can, and then it is all taken to an MRF (Materials Recovery Facility).
Majority of the video I followed this WXLL Amrep FL, since it was my main goal, to at least catch one. It was fun watching it pack out. After I grabbed a couple of clips I scoped out the area one more time and came back to the Octo, I heard something going down the street and I saw a rear loader, I then thought to myself that it could one of the former Whittier trucks, surprisingly it was! I never thought that the Whittier trucks would come up all the way to Azusa. Sadly the crew said no to my filming but later on they asked if I wanted to get a clip of the packer and I said sure.
I hope to return to Azusa and I'm hoping to make a trip soon to Sierra Madre and Monterey Park for automated trucks.
