Moby | Rare Interview | The Lost Tapes

In 1999 Richard Melville, better known as Moby, was on the verge on quitting music when he dropped his 5th album. Play would go on to become a landmark album, the first ever record to every track licensed for use in films, television programmes and advertisements. This episode of the Lost Tapes sees Moby reflect on the impact that the album had on both the music industry and his own creative process. He also talks about his upbringing, the responsibility he feels as a punk rock fan to make his music political and why every cent he earned from Play went into creating new music.
