Beautiful Kazakhstan - Untouched Lakes and Mountains

Trip from Almaty, Kazakhstan, to the countryside in the Southeast. Visited the beautiful Kaindy and Kolsay Lakes (1st and 2nd Kolsay Lake), Charyn Canyon and the stunning Assy Plateau. Came within 10km of the Kyrgyzstan border. Although all just within a couple hours drive, it felt like visiting the Alpine Lakes of Switzerland, the vast landscapes of Mongolia, the highlands of Tibet, the Grand Canyon of Arizona and the rugged mountains of Afghanistan all in one day.
