How to Write a Program for a CrossFit Open Athlete - A Demo
In this video, OPEX's Carl Hardwick discusses how to layout a program design foundation for somebody who wants to improve their CrossFit Open placement from the 2019 CrossFit Open to the 2020 (October 2019) CrossFit Open.

1. Priotize

3. Periodize
From there, Carl discusses how to move from phase to phase of training as his client avatar progresses her way into the CrossFit Open. Those phases (generally speaking) are:
1. Accumulation 1 - skills, drills, and volume
2. possible small deload
3. Intensification 1 - increasing intensity
4. possibly small deload
5. Accumulation 2
6. possible small deload
7. Intensification 2 - in this example, Simulation
8. possible small deload
9. Accumulation 3
10. Pre-Competition (Intensification 3)
11. possible taper (deload)
12. Competition
