Kelli’s Story Behind Bars: Letting God Take Control

“Maybe God don’t exist.” Kelli had a good job and attended church, but when her daughter got hooked on drugs, she felt like God wasn’t doing enough and her life spiraled downward leading to a crime that put her behind bars. It was in prison that the Courage for My Life https://courageforlife.org class helped Kelli deal with things in her past so she could begin to heal and take responsibility for bad decisions she had made. In her words, “It’s changed the way I look at things… I know that God is going to take care of everything. I like feeling like that.”
