WARNING! $5300 MSI GT77 BRICKED! $4000 GE78HX BRICKED!

As I was updating my MSI GT77 and GE78HX gaming laptops both laptops were bricked by a crash while it was a 3% done with the update. I have no clue what's going on or why it crashed, but it is incredibly frustrating. I have already sent the MSI GT77 back to MSI for repair. I will have to also send the GE78HX back for repairs as well. For now, my advice is to DO NOT UPDATE BIOS until MSI can replicate and prevent this from happening again next time. I know some users were able to update successfully, but I have also heard of several others where the bios updates had failed. I will update pinned comment once I hear more back from MSI!
