Guaecá is a beach in the municipality of São Sebastião, on the northern coast of the state of São Paulo. It is mainly made up of summer homes.

It is very popular with surfers. On the northern side of the beach, the Morro das Sete Voltas is used as a launch point for hang gliding and paragliding enthusiasts.

Guaecá alternates between days of absolutely calm waters and days of strong waves and strong currents.

The sand is light and soft and the hills behind the houses are rich in Atlantic Forest. On the southern side of the beach there are many quick trails that can be taken around the beach that lead to deserted beaches, or prainhas (the name most often used by local residents). Access to these places is difficult when it rains, as the trail gets soaked and the only way to return from the beaches is by swimming.
