The Cold War: 1917 - 1991 - Documentary

This documentary is a comprehensive overview of the cold war from 1917 to 1991. The documentary starts by exploring the ideological competition between Lenin's revolutionary communism and global capitalism. It then goes on to discuss the 1930s and Stalin. From 1945 to 1950, the conventional cold war moments are covered. Then from 1945-1980, the documentary is split into geographical regions, to make the cold war easier to comprehend. It covers Europe, Far East Asia, Cuba, and the Middle East. The African continent is not covered because it was less relevant when compared the latter regions, and we had a limited budget when making the documentary, as a result, we had to compromise. The documentary then goes on to briefly talk about the period of detente. Lastly, it gradually finishes off by discussing the 'cold war 2.0' between Regan and Gorbachev, and explains how the USSR collapsed. It is the longest-running and most expensive documentary ever produced on this channel. However, because of the limited funds available, it is likely the last documentary video on this channel, for a long time. Exactly how long documentary production will remain halted, is unknown. It largely depends on whether I can afford to fund it. Just to add for those that don't know, YouTube does not allow me to monetise any of my content. I have tried to create a gofundme, but for some unknown reason, it was shut down within a month (no money was donated). I hope to continue making documentaries in the future, but for now, the project will come to a halt.
