Born in a quiet coastal town in Oregon, Rowan grew up with rain-soaked notebooks, hand-me-down acoustic guitars, and a constant feeling that he was just a little too sentimental for the world around him.

In high school he played open-mics out of sheer necessity — he says songwriting was the only way he knew how to process growing up in a home where emotions stayed unspoken but deeply felt.
