Climbing Mt. Kinabalu during a pandemic (2020)| Highly recommended for first time climbers | Vlog

Despite the current global pandemic, we took this opportunity to summit Mt. Kinabalu otherwise it would have been difficult to secure a slot to climb it during normal time. There were only 45 climbers that day which gave us ample space and time to document our journey in detail.

Enjoy the change of scenery during the ascent that ranges from the richness of montane grasslands to blooming alpine meadows, which enchanted us from one moment to the next. I suspect the loveliness of the company we had and the leisurely strides we took without rushing, along with the genuine excitement and amazement of the ever-changing sights before us played a part in veiling this exhausting journey into a wondrous expedition.
