The Long Shadow

A prominent Hungarian actor, Gabor Romandy (MICHAEL YORK) receives a letter inviting him to attend the commemoration of the first anniversary of his father's death. Despite of his allegations of never having met him, Gabor abruptly leaves for Israel the very next day, where he meets and falls in love with Katherine (LIV ULLMANN) his father's young widow. Totally unprepared for what he is about to learn, Gabor is forced to face a past he wants to forget in order to deal with a future he cannot ignore.
