Dedicated to my grandma 'Arous'. Although this is not her exact recipe, I have been inspired to make 'Gata' by watching her bake since I was a little girl !

My Gata Recipe (2 Gata’s)

- Dough -
2 eggs - keep 1 yolk for later
100 g sugar
150 g butter (¾ stick)
250 g yogurt
1 tbsp baking powder
3 cups of AP flour + 1-2 tbsp
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla

- Filling -
Flour 100 g
Sugar 100 g
Butter 50 g
