UK Fishing will thrive post Brexit trade talks!

The European Union has been comprehensively slated over its handling of the Common Fisheries Policy.

Brussels has been condemned by a new report that says the waters that fall under the EU Common Fisheries Policy have been over-fished to the tune of 8.78 million tonnes over the last two decades.

And the Brussels chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, is demanding that we stick to the current quota system in this new EU-UK trade deal, so that EU fishing boats can continue to bleed our Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of fish stocks!?

After reading this report I doubt even the most ardent pro-EU Rejoiniac would want that ….. oh wait - yes they would, they’d stupidly think it a price worth paying.

And you can hear them now can’t you, stay in it to reform it …. blah, blah, blah.

But as far as I’m concerned, sticking with this would be absolutely criminal.
