Brenneke Black Magic Magnum 12 GA Slug Test

Review and FOUR penetration tests of the Brenneke Black Magic Magnum, 12 GA, 3" slug. Test gun is the Mossberg 590A1 Special Purpose. This is clearly an option for hunting large game; not so much a good choice for home defense due to excessive penetration.

I purchased these at the Outpost Armory near Murfreesboro, TN; $11.99 for box of 5. These aren't cheap, but this slug is essentially a freaking air-torpedo for your shotgun. The "Outpost" typically has a wide variety of Brenneke products on the shelf.
