Consecration of #Russia and #Ukraine to Our Lady: Praying for #peace 🕊️, not for one side

In different moments of history, several popes have consecrated #Russia to the #Immaculate Heart of Mary.

#StefanoCecchin, President of the International Pontifical Marian Academy and a leading expert on the Virgin Mary, will be at the Fatima shrine for the consecration of Russia and #Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The consecration is tied to the 1917 Marian apparitions in #Fatima, where Mary asked the #Pope for the consecration. Previous popes have consecrated Russia and the world multiple times, but Pope Francis is asking all bishops to participate in this ceremony on March 25, 2023 in #Rome and around the world.

The act of consecration is not an act of war or a show of support for any countries, but a request for peace for all. The whole #Church will pray together for peace as the driving force of this consecration.
