Geraint Thomas on winning Tour de France and Team Sky's future

He rode the Tour de France for the first time at just 21, narrowly missing last place. Just over a decade later, Geraint Thomas has become the first Welshman, and just the third Briton after his Team Sky teammates Sir Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome to win the prestigious cycling competition.

The Tour is the crowning glory of his early professional career that includes two Olympic track gold medals, three World track golds and the 2014 Commonwealth Games road race title. Just a few days after crossing the finishing line on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, the 32-year-old from Cardiff sits down with Jon Snow to discuss how he won the Tour, the reaction of his Team Sky teammates to his success and what he thinks will be the next step in his cycling career.
