Days 20 - Kubernetes LoadBalancer Service on Azure AKS — Hands-On (Public IP Demo)

In this guided lab, you’ll deploy NGINX to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and expose it publicly using a Kubernetes LoadBalancer Service. You’ll provision AKS, grab kubeconfig, create a Deployment, add a LoadBalancer Service, wait for the public IP, and verify traffic from the internet. We’ll also peek at the Azure Load Balancer that Kubernetes created for us.

*You’ll learn*

- When to use LoadBalancer vs ClusterIP/NodePort/Ingress
- AKS setup: resource group, cluster, kubeconfig
- Creating a Service of type LoadBalancer with labels/selectors
- Watching for EXTERNAL-IP and testing public access
- Where to see Azure LB objects (frontend, backend pool, rules)
