Beyond being cute, this red wolf pup represents the Wolf Conservation Center’s active participation in the active effort to save the world’s most endangered wolf from extinction.

The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), is a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY. The WCC is one of a network of facilities participating in the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan - a national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of red wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.
