LIVE: Obama to speak on Iran nuclear deal at American University

US President Barack Obama is due to give a speech on the Iran nuclear deal at the American University in Washington, DC, where John F. Kennedy made his nonproliferation speech in 1963, on Wednesday, August 5.
Obama’s speech comes on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Moscow signing of the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty by the US, the UK and the Soviet Union, which banned all nuclear testing except underground.
The US president is due to address the agreement signed with Iran on April 14 2015, when China, France, Germany, Russia, the UK and the US agreed to relieve sanctions imposed on Iran in return for the country accepting curbs on its nuclear programme.
