Javier & Khabib November Travel to Uzbekistan & Dagestan for Umar & Team in Gorilla FC MMA 20

AKA Founder, Owner, and Head Coach, Javier Méndez, travels from New York City to Moscow, onward to Dagestan, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan with Khabib Nurmagomedov for his younger cousin, Umar’s, title defense at Gorilla Fighting Championship 20.

They are training with Khabib’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, and other cousin, Islam Makhachev, to help prepare their younger cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov, defending his bantamweight title. Umar has a last-minute opponent change, just days before his fight. His new opponent is Braian Gonzalez an undefeated 6-0 fighter out of Argentina.

Fighting alongside Umar on the GFC 20 card are fellow Eagles MMA Dagestan teammates, Shamil Zavurov, Saygid Izagakhmaev, and Marat Magomedov.

Bonus footage by AKA Coach Clint Coronel, who is holding it down at home with the MMA Pro Team. Clint filmed some clips of sparring day at AKA Headquarters in San José, California while the big boss, Coach Javier, is away in Europe.
