DIY Alaskan 55LB Swamp Donkey and Caribou hunt

As two #hunting dads, Join with us as we embark on this adventure from Northern Utah, driving up through Canada to Alaska for a DIY 55lb Swamp Donkey(Yukon Moose) and Caribou drop Hunt. From stopping in AB to hunt Specklebellies, to dealing with Grizzlies in backcountry AK, we had the trip of a lifetime.

We knew that with young families the opportunity wasn't going to get any easier anytime soon and while we were still healthy we knew we had to make this happen.
This was a dream hunt that we turned into a reality after researching, committing, saving up, and more research over 2 years.

Do to the 55lb gear weight restrictions of the plane, we were humbled by what gear we really “Needed” to bring. But it made the experience that much more of an awesome challenge to survive 12 days in the backcountry of #Alaska.
