This is the 6 months update on the Ikea Glass Dome Scaped Terrarium or Terrascape. A slight warp of the base plate has been a bit of an issue. Due to the warp the glass dome top does not sit very well resulting in air gaps and loss of moisture from the enclosure. I need to mist the terrarium at least once a week to prevent the moss from drying out. Besides that the terrarium is doing pretty well. The Anubias which is the hero of this scape is in good health and growing. So is the Selaginella. Some patches of moss are slightly brown which is due to the reason mentioned above. But wil regular misting they will do just fine. Only the Peperomia prostrata seems to be struggling. Only one, out of the 3 cuttings planted, is surviving. The others have withered away. This could be due to the excess misting which is resulting in water droplets sitting on its leaves which the plant clearly does not like. During this review and update shoot the terrascape also fell from my hands and one of the lava rocks at the back was dislodged. There was no way to reattach the rock as glue would not hold moist surfaces very well. So I proceeded to cover the section with aquasoil paste and planted moss over it. The final outcome was satisfactory.
