How To: Hospital Flip

"How To" video number 21: Hospital Flip a.k.a. The trick that will always have an argument between the older and younger generation over whether it should be called hospital or casper flip.

(At 7:27 I say my front foot grabs the tail to swing it back around but I meant to say nose.)

This is a slightly strange trick that seems to have grown in popularity in the last decade or so. Though debates about the name still persist, one thing remains the same: It is fun to do! I hope I explained how to do this trick well enough. It is a pretty awkward movement to learn but once you get the hang of it it's really not too bad.

The main things to take away from this are:
It's all in the front foot!
Have your kickflips down first because it's just the start of one of those mixed with a mid-air whip back of your foot.
