In this part I'm insulating sauna steam room interior using Sauna-Satu 30 mm SPU heat shielding panel that is double coated with foil to radiate back the emitting heat from the stove. Thus the sauna heats up faster, keeps the heat and is more economical overall. These panels are joined together by foam, screwed to the OSB and all openings in the panels (gaps, screw heads) are sealed with foil tape. To provide breathable air to the sauna users air vents are drilled through walls, one close to the sauna stove to supply both the fire and users with oxygen, and the other one close to the ceiling diagonally across the room to naturally aerate the room and also to dry it out after usage more easily. To attach the aspen interior siding to the walls I'm using spruce furring strips I cut in the last video on my homemade sawmill. Check it out!
