UGA Football and Kirby Smart welcomed Operation Teammate for a tour of Sanford Stadium and a new UGA locker room tour. The UGA Football Entrance is amazing and your will see that during the UGA vs Auburn game. The UGA football highlights have shown the phenomenal view. New players such as JT Daniels will experience the new locker room and football entrance. Georgia Football 2020 is a historic team; QB’s Stetson Bennett and Dwan Mathis, along with Daniels will lead the UGA Football program to an SEC and College Football 2020 CFP Championships. Operation Teammate events are similar to military family surprises and military family reunions – they are very exciting for all attending military families. We work with Olympic athletes, various sports stars, and do such things as meeting professional basketball players. Our Olympics athletes tell their inspirational sports stories related to preparing for both the 2020 Olympics which have been moved to Tokyo 2021.

We also work with college athletes, and during our experiences, our military mentors speak with the student-athletes about how to join the military, which includes how to join the Air Force, how to join the Army, how to join the Marines, how to join the Coast Guard, and how to join the Space Force. College athletes speak with our military families about life as a student-athlete and how to become a professional athlete within various sports across the nation.

Tim Montjoy is a retiree of the United States Air Force; currently resides in Augusta, Georgia. His Air Force career spanned from 1996 – 2016 and took him to such overseas assignments as Osan Air Base, South Korea to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, & Zabul, Afghanistan.

Bethany Montjoy - Vice President, Outreach
Bethany is a college student in Augusta, GA and serves our leadership team as the Vice President, Director of Outreach. Bethany has stated, "Growing up as a military child has provided me opportunities to experience the world from a different perspective.”

Cynthia Stein- Vice President, Community Relations
Cynthia is a retiree of the United States Army and serves our leadership team as the Vice President, Community Relations. Cynthia brings an executive-level background in large function event planning and military family readiness to Operation Teammate.

Jane Montjoy - Treasurer
Jane has a background in education, she serves our leadership team as the Treasurer and provides comptroller oversight. Jane has a passion for America’s youth and brings an extensive amount of experience when working with local communities.

Jay Johnson - Director of Programs
Jay is the Offensive Coordinator for the Michigan State University football program and serves our leadership team as the Director of Programs. Jay has built an extensive leadership resume over the past 2 decades and has a passion for mentoring future generations.
