When pneumonia turned septic and caused necrosis, Ron Rosas traveled 1,000 miles from Dallas to #OSUWexMed to undergo a quadruple amputation while saving the elbow in his right arm so he could play tennis again.
After more than 70 hours of surgery, five weeks in the hospital and another procedure to help his prosthetics fit better, he walked out of the hospital surrounded by applause from all of those who cared for him during his stay.
