Many didn’t even know the name Douglas Mastriano before March 2020. It was then that Doug's now famous "Fireside Chats" began. Some started listening then, but cannot tell you how they even heard of Senator Mastriano, but are glad they did! Doug became the lone voice of strength and encouragement when so many others recoiled in fear and despair. The 8:00pm hour could not arrive soon enough each evening. His faithful motivation to a hurting and weary PA citizenry came with a calm yet resolute determination for a better future and success that we knew could be trusted. And in a time that felt dark, his honest smile combined with gentle words brought peace to troubled hearts and minds.
