Richmond, Queensland // Travelling Australia Vlog [A Life That Travels}

I'll admit it. Until we arrived in Queensland (unexpectedly, since we hadn't planned on travelling here) I had NO idea where Richmond was.

In fact, I didn't even know there was a place called Richmond in Queensland... so don't feel bad if this is your first time hearing of it!

Richmond is part of Australia's "Dinosaur Triangle" - 3 locations in central Queensland where incredible dinosaur remains have been unearthed.

In Richmond's case, the remains of the gigantic Kronosaurus were found here - a huge underwater predator dating back to when Australia's interior was under a huge inland sea.

That dried up a LONG time ago. Now this part of Australia is pretty dry!

Richmond is a pretty little town worthy of a stop if you're passing through this way.

BUT not a lot of people pass through this way... so let me save you the 500km drive and take you for a look around 🤣 !
