How does a mega filter press work? 3D animation - old project

Years ago I made this video showing how a MEGA filter press works for Matec Industries.

It shows the filling of the chambers between one plate and another with the sludge to be dehydrated, the plates are wrapped in special cloths that allow only the water molecules to pass through while the solid part remains inside forming a loaf with little humidity residual.

At the end of the process the plates open and the dehydrated cake can fall and the cycle can start again.
