Also Jon Lillestolen will be presenting at this years NSS convention
"Andrea Croskrey : Howdy Texas Cavers,
The talk this Wednesday is a real treat as we get to listen to a guest speaker from overseas. Chris Jewell, from the UK, will be sharing the high adventures of the recent trip that established Sistema Huautla as deepest cave in the Western Hemisphere at -1,545m. This is going to be presentation not to miss!"
Also in attendance at this meeting was Bill Steele who posted that "Ron Ralph and Rune Burnett were there. They were both on the 1966 expedition that got down to -400m. Bill Russell was sitting in the front row, and he was one of three people who in March 1965 first saw the Sotano de San Agustin and Sotano del Rio Iglesia entrances, that is besides the local Mazatec Indians who archaeological evidence has shown have lived there for over 2,000 years."
