Piercing a Hollow Sphere with Dan Luttrell
Dan is well known for his pierced hollow forms that include Christmas ornaments, footballs, baseballs, and even a baseball bat. Here he shows us how to begin this technique with a straight-forward hollow sphere. Dan turns the sphere in two parts, glues them together, then begins piercing it. See Dan’s FAQ on the Richmond Woodturners website here https://richmondwoodturners.org/pdf/handouts/dan_luttrell_piercing_faq.pdf
