Facebook’s ‘secret’ censorship algorithm is Orwellian: Founder of Parler
Facebook’s “secret internal algorithm” which censors conservative viewpoints has been condemned as “Orwellian” by Parler chief executive John Matze.
Mr Matze – who runs a popular free speech social media platform – said Facebook should let people decide what opinions or beliefs they want to see.
“Parler believes that people should make the determination for themselves what they think is hyperpartisan or they believe in and what they’d like to follow and they can choose on their own on Parler what they’d like to get engaged with,” Matze said
