Lost in Paradise: Visiting Amed in Rainy Season (VLOG)

After not having travelled anywhere for months, I wanted to get away from Canggu for a couple days and explore a part of Bali I had never been to before. I decided to head East to Amed, the small fishing town most known among divers.

It's currently the rainy/low season (December) and in the middle of the pandemic which has shut down tourism to Bali, so the area was particularly desolate. We made the most of it by just relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty Amed has to offer.

We stayed at Aquamarine Beach Villas (https://www.aquamarinebeachvillas.com/), which we booked on AirBnB.

Normally the trip should only take about 3 hours from Canggu, but our driver didn't know the route and got lost several times along the way. The return trip was much easier along the main road.
