Moonrise Timelapse with a PHONE: An Easy way to do Night Time-lapse

Shooting a moonrise timelapse using the skyview app for a phone is an easy way to do night time-lapse, its CHEAP and it looks COOL. To get great night time lapse photography all you need is a phone, a tripod, skyview app and another free app called Intervalometer (intervalometer is for android, I think the best app for iphone is Protimer - although I've never used it) Any questions please ask away.

By the way - if you get a chance to see the moon rise over the ocean then do it. The moon looked absolutely amazing, like something out of a science fiction movie. i wish I'd had a 200mm lens on me to get a closer shot of it... but hey you live and learn don't you.
