Premier League owners' charter put on hold by the 'Big Six' over European qualification

A proposed Premier League owners' charter has been put on hold because of concerns expressed privately by the “Big Six". The charter was designed as a response to the threat of the European Super League and one of the key proposals was around European qualification based on sporting merit. However, UEFA are currently considering a plan to allow clubs to qualify for the Champions League based off their coefficient.
