How To Get Your Customer's Attention For Your Small Business

It's Jason Jones here. So you're a small business owner and you've got a product or service that you're totally in love with and can't wait to share all the cool features with your customers.

But are you REALLY talking about the right things in your marketing?

It's common for us to get stuck talking about what our product does, how it works, its bells and whistles.

BUT, sometimes, this can leave our customers wondering, "okay, but what's in it for me?"

Here's the magic ingredient:

Talk BENEFITS!

You see, when you spotlight the benefits of your product or service, your telling people how it'll make their lives easier, better, or more fun.

We're giving them a sneak peek into what the future looks like for them with our product.

Your message will hit home because it speaks to their needs, wants, and emotions.

So, let’s switch gears and start putting the benefits front and center?

Here are a couple of ways to do that.

1. First, write down each feature of your product/service, then ask yourself, "How will this make my customer's life better?" Jot that down. That’s the benefit.

2. Speak in a language that resonates with your customers. Use their lingo. Show them you 'get' them. Got it!?

Try these tips in your next marketing campaign, and watch your message hit home and help you make more money.

Remember, folks don't buy products; they buy solutions and better versions of themselves.
