Samsung TV just clicks and takes longer and longer before it comes on.

The LN-T4042, Samsung 40 inch LCD TV just has a clicking sound coming from it and does not fully power on. Usually what happens when the TV has bad capacitors on the Power Supply board is that when you turn the TV on it will repeatedly click for a few seconds and then come on with the Samsung Chime. After a while the TV clicks longer and longer before it comes on. This type of problem is usually caused by bulged bad capacitors on the power supply board. They are easily recognized by just doing a visual inspection of the power supply board and looking for bulged capacitors.
