As the sun rose on our second day on Kangaroo Island, we were very excited to start it off with a morning at the Seal Bay Conservation Area. Arriving for the park opening, we went out on the first tour of the day and IMMEDIATELY spotted a beautiful sea lion, chilling on the path to the beach.

The Seal Bay Conservation Area is home to a colony of wild sea lions that rest and relax on the shores of Kangaroo Island. In total, there are about 15,000 sea lions in this part fo the country, making it the THIRD LARGEST colony of Australian sea lions in the world.
