Cathay Pacific Business Class Review | A330 Flight to Asia’s Ghost Airport

This particular Airbus A330 was fitted with Cathay Pacific’s older regional Business Class product in a 2-2-2 configuration, a noticeable downgrade compared to the airline’s long-haul Aria Suites product. I take a closer look at the seat comfort, privacy, legroom, storage, and overall experience on this short regional flight, while also seeing whether Cathay Pacific’s renowned service still manages to impress despite the outdated cabin layout.

I also explore Cambodia’s new Techo International Airport near Phnom Penh, a massive new aviation project designed to become a major Southeast Asian hub. The new airport is designed to handle millions of passengers annually with a modern terminal, long runways capable of serving the Airbus A380, and future expansion plans aimed at transforming Cambodia into a regional aviation hub. However, with limited flights currently operating, the airport’s enormous scale and quiet atmosphere have already earned it comparisons to a “ghost airport.”
