A next to new DB11 was supposed to be going through the New Car Prep to lay some quality protection throughout however on collection, it was clear more, much more, was needed...

Unfortunately the vehicle has fell victim to several bad washes and instances of bad contact... The vehicle is stored in an active warehouse and is covered. Before covering (which I try not to recommend unless absolutely necessary) the owner took a chamois to the dirty bodywork and proceeded to wipe the car down; to give it a once over and remove the moisture before being covered up! This, acting like a coarse sandpaper on the paintwork and inducing terrible scratches to the next-to-new £200k Aston Martin.

The car is due to come back in August 2017 for some paint correction treatments, restoring the damage before layering the hardy paint protection.

Please, careful with your words if you choose to leave a comment. An honest mistake by the owner and here's to hoping that others can learn from it. The correct kit, techniques and know-how have been passed on to the owner which has already been put into practice but once the correction is made later in the year, it is vital that these steps are taken to ensure the finish stays as nice as possible, for as long as possible!
