Aymeric cooks EAST AFRICAN CHAPATI and the Ugandan specialty ROLEX.

Aymeric makes chapati and then rolls one up with an omelette inside to make the local favourite, rolex. Nothing to do with the watch, but more to do with rolled eggs :) This was my favourite food to eat for lunch when I was working in Uganda and brings back great memories!

Recipe for the CHAPATI:

Recipe for the ROLEX:
1 chapati / 1 or 2 eggs / ~1 tbsp finely diced tomato / ~1 tsp finely diced shallot / pinch of salt

Heat up a bit of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Mix the egg, tomato and shallot together. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook for a little bit, then give it a flip. Place a chapati on top of the egg to warm it up a bit and when the egg is cooked through, transfer to a plate. And then simply roll it up!
